    Newman & Pengilley Solicitors is a law firm that has been serving the Tamworth community since 1876.
    Richard was born in 1959, attended Tamworth Public School and then Tamworth High School prior to attaining his Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Pure Mathematics) and Bachelor of Laws at University of New South Wales. After working as a solicitor in Sydney for one year following qualifying as a solicitor, Richard returned to Tamworth in 1983 and commenced employment with Newman & Pengilley.

    Associates:

    An Associate of the firm is Merrie Bott, also Tamworth born-and-bred, who is in fact Richard's sister. Merrie is a Certified Financial Planner who primarily carries on business under her own business name AccuVest Tamworth in shared premises with Newman & Pengilley.
