The principal of Norton Conveyancing & Legal, Alison Norton, has worked within the legal profession since 1998. She was admitted to practice as an Australian lawyer in 2006 after graduating from Deakin University with Honours and has experience working as a lawyer in private practice, the public service and within the Courts. Over the course of her career Alison has regularly appeared in courts throughout the jurisdiction.
Alison worked as a conveyancing paralegal for a number of years in country Victoria. She understands the sensitivities involved when dealing with legal matters on a local level.
Norton Conveyancing & Legal is fully covered by professional indemnity insurance.
Alison is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria.

- Providing of a copy of the Transfer of Land document to client’s bank or lender upon formal written request from the lender.
- Booking of settlement with client’s bank or lender.
- Attend Settlement - the conveyancer will organise and attend the settlement on your behalf.
- Submission of Notices of Acquisition.

- All legal advice forming part of the conveyancing work.
- All legal work forming part of the conveyancing work.
- All office costs (postage, faxes, phone calls, photocopying) forming part of the conveyancing work.
- Obtaining of mortgage “payout figure” from Lender.
- Booking of settlement with client’s bank or lender.
- Settlement at our office.
- Submission of Notices of Disposition.
Where the property is a unit/apartment, and an Owners Corporation (Body Corporate) is involved, an extra charge will apply for each Owners Corporation Certificate purchased.
